Day 1 - Los Angeles/Tahiti
Depart today for Tahiti. Arrive Tahiti in the early evening. Our staff
will greet you with a fresh flower lei and you will be transferred to your
hotel. On Tahiti, you will have time to explore busy Papeete with its colorful
markets, shops and harbor. Perhaps you will want to take a tour to the interior
to see valleys and high mountain peaks of this mystical island.
Day 2 - Bora Bora
Upon arriving in Bora Bora, enjoy a personal welcome at the airport complete
with champagne and tropical fresh fruit. Board the yacht and settle in,
discovering life onboard at your own pace. Your first excursion of the your
journey begins this afternoon as you follow your guide to the barrier reef for
snorkeling adventure, where you will discover the underwater flora and fauna.
Later, enjoy tea time on a motu islet surrounded by pristine waters.
Day 3 - Tahaa
Discover the untouched beauty of Tahaa, an untouched island fragrant with
vanilla. Today you can share the traditional secrets of the preparation and
enjoyment of a Tahitian oven on a motu islet with a local family. Slide into the
lagoon and reach for a cocktail from the floating bar. See a traditional tattoo
demonstration and learn about the history of tattooing in the islands. Listen to
the exotic sounds of local instruments. Circumnavigate the island toward sunset
so at sunset, with champagne in hand, the most breathtaking sight we will be
before you on the horizon, as the dazzling colors cross the lagoon, reef, and
towering Bora Bora.
Day 4 - Raiatea
Today learn the clever moves of the pearl grafter at a working pearl farm.
Experience drift snorkeling in one of the island’s numerous passes. You may
elect to hike up Mount Tapioi to embrace a breathtaking view of the Leeward
Islands. Later, sip a Maitai and enjoy Tahitian dances with a sunset backdrop.
Day 5 - Huahine
Your yacht anchors in the mystic and beautiful still waters of Hana Iti Bay.
Enjoy a champagne breakfast in the lagoon before beginning your day. Today you
may choose to wander the seaside village of Fare. Enjoy a guided bicycle tour of
the village before returning to the ship.
Day 6 - Raiatea
Today enjoy a kayak tour of the Faaroa River. As you paddle, you will reach a
magnificent botanical garden. Later, enjoy a motu movie under the stars, where
you will also enjoy a beach barbecue.
Day 7 - Bora Bora
Saturday is dedicated to the motu. Enjoy the beautiful lagoon of Bora Bora
throughout the day, and toward sunset, the “mamas” of Bora Bora will bring their
culture and skills to you as they demonstrate the art of making “tifaifai”
(hand-made local bed covers), among other talents.
Day 8 - Bora Bora/Tahiti
Say farewell as your cruise comes to a close. You will be transferred to the
airport for your flight home, or you may wish to stay on to enjoy the island of
Bora Bora at greater length or venture to another island to extend your stay.
