The Huahine Relais Mahana is a small and friendly, family owned
Tahitian style hotel with thatched roof beach and garden bungalows, a restaurant, and bar
at the edge of the lagoon.
It is the most secluded
of the Huahine hotels and is located near the southern tip of Huahine-Iti, far from the
relative bustle of Fare. The quiet village of Parea is not far away.
The hotel consists of 22 Tahitian-style garden and beach
bungalows. The restaurant and bar are situated at the edge of a sugar white beach
and pristine lagoon. Islanders recommend the hotel’s restaurant for its Sunday
evening grill.
The hotel has a swimming pool, tennis court, and one of the
most beautiful white sand beaches in Huahine. The water surrounding the hotel is
a beautiful turquoise color and offers great snorkeling.
While the property is simple, it is quite well run and
pleasant. The staff is friendly and many would say the hotel has the best beach and water
location of any hotel in Huahine. |
