Bora Bora Sofitel Beach Resort The Sofitel Bora Bora Beach Resort (formerly Sofitel Marara) has recently completed a major refurbishment and has brought this former film set back as one of the chicest hotels on the island. The Sofitel’s recent renovations included the addition of new overwater bungalows, a new spa, infinity swimming pool, beach bar, pool area, and Bora Bora’s only Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant. All guest bungalows and public areas have been completely revamped and feature modern furnishings and sleek décor. Superior Garden Bungalow - Located on the front side of the resort with a private patio that opens to view the resort’s gardens. Guests will find hammocks conveniently located nearby.

Deluxe Garden View Bungalow - Located toward the back side of the resort, closer to the beach front area with a private patio that opens to view the resort’s gardens.

Deluxe Beach Bungalow - Excellent beach front accommodations which feature a private patio with lounge chairs that offer outstanding views of the lagoon and resort’s private beach area.

Deluxe Lagoon Front Bungalow - Cleverly designed bungalows which are partially on land and over the water. These bungalows feature deck set over the resort’s inner lagoons with 2 lounge chairs.

Deluxe Overwater Bungalow - The resort’s Overwater accommodations are a favorite among staff and guests alike. Each bungalow features an in-floor viewing platforms, illuminated at night, so guests can enjoy the colorful fish swimming underneath. Additionally guests will enjoy the spacious decks with privacy fence and direct access to the lagoon below.
