HERE'S WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING...

Well what can I say? Perfect, magnificent, and amazing are all words that fall so very short of describing our vacation. It could not have been a better vacation choice for our family. Sure there were little imperfections along the way.......but that’s just life. Anybody that cannot deal with life shouldn’t be allowed to comment on it.

As a reminder this was our second trip to Hotel Bora Bora for me and my wife. As return travelers, we knew exactly what to expect.............and our expectations were still exceeded!! I was concerned that traveling as a family to French Polynesia may not be a great match, but I was proved pleasantly wrong. The Tahitian people and, more specifically, the staff of Hotel Bora Bora have taken the gift that God has bestowed upon them and truly have made it “The Most Beautiful Place on Earth”. They could not have been friendlier, more accommodating, or more sincere. There was not a single staff member that did not greet us with a warm, genuine smile. Many took the time to get to know us, advise us on things to do, and most importantly, took the time to say goodbye.

Our children, 9, 13, and 15 now have lifetime memories that others are not so fortunate to have. They are all eager to return and were very sad to leave. Suffice it to say, Disneyland will just not cut it anymore. Bora Bora had a special place in our hearts and now that place is even bigger. As we left the island for the airport, the tears flowing from my wife’s eyes were the most telling testimony. What a magical destination!

We have plans of returning every 1-2 years and hope that you will be a part of those plans. Your professionalism is very much appreciated and recognized.

- Marzo Family

Everything was great! Your staff is extremely friendly and always on time. One of your tours recommended a great restaurant in Papeete, L'O a la Bouche - a bit pricey but worht the money.

The Bora Bora Nui left us wordless. The overwater villa is exceptional, extraordinary. The best service I have seen, everyone looking for your well being.

I do not know if I have to recommend Tahiti Travel Planners of you personally but you blew us away with your extraordinary service. We have already recommend you to about 4 different friends. A fifth one shoud be coming in the next months.

Loved Moorea and Bora Bora. Your agent was AMAZING!  She was the main reason why I ended up booking our vacation via TahitiMoons.  I thought she was excellent in answering all the questions in my emails in a very timely manner.  Not only did I get answers to my questions but I got more additional helpful tips and advice.  Her attention to details was impeccable.  I felt very confident in her skills as a travel advisor/agent.  I knew we were in good hands as we went through the process in booking this vacation. I honestly must say Bora Bora was the most beautiful place I've personally ever seen.

- Leilanie and Sir Arnold, Virginia

Both Tahaa and Bora Bora are beautiful.  We wanted two different experiences:  low key, secluded time followed by a more active, touristy experience.  These two islands were the perfect combination.

The beach bungalow on Tahaa was fabulous.  Complete privacy AND our own pool.  Loved the accommodations – beautiful wood, open air feel.  The snorkeling just off the pool area is incredible.  We saw rays, eels, sea urchins, sharks and tons of fish and coral.  The water is shallow and crystal clear.  The monoi oil was key in keeping the mosquitoes away.

The accommodations at the St. Regis are over the top.  You can live in the bungalows.  The extra money for the island view is well worth it, but I’d advise people to ask for one closer to the registration desk and pool area.  We were a ~15 minute walk away... The food at the St. Regis is very good – we especially loved the sushi and lagoon restaurants. But, I’d highly recommend La Villa Mahana on the island of Bora Bora.  Very, very expensive, but the service and quality is unparalleled.  I’d also recommend Nycos Pearls in the village on Bora Bora.  Decent prices, honest and great service – they helped me design a pearl ring and even brought it over to the St. Regis.

The transfers were seamless – the staff was easy to find and helpful.  The meet-n-greet at both hotels was as expected – leis, drinks, tours (with the added pleasure of having the St. Regis make all our dinner reservations for us by the end of the tour).

We LOVED the shark and ray feeding full day excursion – sharks w/in touching distance… WOW!  The jeep safari on Tahaa was interesting (nice to spend a day off the beach),but I wish we’d seen the operation of the vanilla plantation, rather than just the ‘guest shop.’

Your agent was extremely helpful.  I’d highly recommend booking activities in advance to those who will visit in the future.  It made a difference in getting what we wanted when we wanted it.

- Tracy and Steven, Georgia

Bora Bora and Moorea were both spectacular!  The resorts felt like you were walking into a magazine picture.  Everyone was very friendly and they all made you feel very welcome.  Moorea was great for families (with children/teenager).  There was much more activities to choose from and a bit more variety of restaurants especially for prices.  The spa in Bora Bora was a bit pricey but the environment they provide along with the service was wonderful.  Four big cheers for the tattoo artist Herenui at the Bora Bora spa.

The hotels in both Bora Bora and Moorea were both wonderful.  The rooms were very clean and clean.  The equipments (canoe, snorkels, towels etc) were always available.  Our favorites were the turn down service in Bora Bora and the cushy slippers.  We had a premium over the water bungalow in Bora Bora and it was a once in a lifetime experience.

Yes, we highly recommend French Polynesia!  It is truly paradise that must be experienced at least once in a lifetime.

- Aurora and Glenn, California

Everything was wonderful.  The staff were so friendly and so accomodating.  We really enjoyed everything about the Intercontinental and our excursions and restaurants. The rooms, service, and amenities were great! Your agent was the best travel agent we have ever dealt with!  She was so resourceful and detailed. We have already told all of our friends and family that they must go!  We told a few of our friends that are getting married later this year to contact your agent at TahitiMoons for all of their arrangements.  We loved our experience... from the planning all the way to the end of our trip. THANK YOU TAHITIMOONS!

- Chanden and Valery, California

We had a wonderful vacation! It was truely the mot beautiful place we have ever been! It really felt like paradise. Ten nights was the perfect amount of time....it was said to leave but also nice to be home again. The overwater bungalows were amazing! We have so many pictures and cant stop looking at them! Swimming with the sharks was one of the best things we've ever done.

Everyone was so nice and very helpful. Immediatly when we arrived someone met us with leis and pointed us in the right direction. The hotels were wonderful. The rooms were very big and spacious. You cant beat the overwater bugalows at Pearl Beach Bora Bora!! It was truely paradise. Your agent did a wonderful job helping us plan our honeymoon. She answered my millions of questions and always had a prompt response! Thanks for all of your help.

- Lindsay and David, Maryland

Bora Bora was amazing.  Of course, we'd been before, so we knew what to expect.  That being said, we strongly preferred being out on a motu rather than on the main island.  It was much more peaceful and felt a lot more remote.  Some of that may be due to it being low season vs. high season, but I still think the motu option is more in line with what we want from a Tahiti vacation - quiet, relaxing, and secluded.

The only excursion we did was scuba diving - 8 dives!  It was amazing.  We remembered the diving being good from the last time, but it was even better than we remembered and the dive sites were more varied than we had expected.  And it was nice to have an activity that we could do in the rain.

The hotel was beautiful!  Overall, we thought this was the best combination of everything we look for in a hotel in Tahiti.  We thought the Intercontinental Thalasso was as nice as Le Tahaa (beautiful rooms, beautiful grounds, good service, etc.), but with better scuba diving and a more beautiful island!  And the scuba diving was as good as Tikehau and Manihi, but the hotel was much nicer and the food was better.  So overall, it was the perfect hotel for us and we will definitely go back.

- Sara and Bill, New York

First off, thanks a million for all of your help in planning our honeymoon.  You did an absolutely terrific job and I couldn't be more thankful... Feel free to use me as a reference too as a very satisfied customer if you need one!  And thanks again!

- Paul

Thank you for helping us plan a wonderful trip. We had an amazing time. I can't imagine anything better than our trip. Transfers, meet and greet, excursion, and restaurants exceeded our expectations. We like the scheduling of the excursion and the chosen excursions. It was just the right amount with still having a lot of time to ourselves to relax and rest.

The Intercontinental Resort in Moorea met our expectations. Bora Bora is true paradise. The Intercontinental Thalasso Resort in Bora Bora is absolutely amazing. The service, amenities, rooms were well above our expectations. Its perfect for anyone who likes something contemporary not forgetting the island feel. We would most definetly recommend the InterContinental Thalasso to anyone.

Your assistance was extremely helpful. I would recommend you to others planning. Your experience and knowledge and planning was ideal and in my eyes absolutely perfect.

- Anthony and Lucille, New York

We had a great experience on Huahine, and it was everything we hoped for. The Relais Mahana was beautiful and exactly what we hoped for.  The room was lovely, service excellent. People at the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. We rented a car on Huahine from AVIS and it went very smoothly.  Definitely liked the freedom to explore on our own.

I wouldn’t change anything.  Maybe stay longer.

- Joan and Bruce, California

It was nothing short of paradise.....Le Meridien in Tahiti was beautiful I loved the idea of a sand filled pool. I got to see a Polynesian wedding on the beach and finally got my husband to go snorkeling. The Polynesian dance show and buffet dinner was awesome even my husband found food to eat and he is picky. Le Meridien in Bora Bora was gorgoreous I actually was speechless with everything and can be a chatter box but this time I had no words that could describe my feelings. FANTASTIC!! The bangalow over water with the glass floor. My husband dropped his money on the floor and thought he dropped it into the ocean, he started laughing. Everyone was great the reception, housekeeping service, most importantly everyone spoke english very well. Also theres nothing cooler then eating dinner and seeing a turtle swim by at the resturant on the lagoon.

In regards to my snorkeling, I never did this before and expected to see very little,  but was amazed at what I saw. Basically the best way to describe it is that all the fish in the movie "Finding Nemo" are swimming right in front of you and are clear as day. More often then not, I'd simply walk up to the beach and there would be a school of small fish swimming right on the shoreline - amazing!

In closing I cannot thank your agent enough for all of the help and planning. She even spoke personally with me by cell phone explaining the islands and what to expect. I researched several companies when planning but found Tahiti Travel Planners to be the most useful and helpful. I never received the sales pitch because you simply don't have one. Your all about helping people plan the perfect honeymoon or vacation.

- Thomas and Belinda, New York

Thanks very much for your attention and efficiency. We are back from our honeymoon and it was superb. Everything was really awesome and we were surprised by the incredible organisation of your company.. We did not have not even one delay. Everything exactly the way we booked. Congratulations !!!

Moorea - very interesting Island, lots of activities and excellent for biking. Greeting service was right there when we needed. We went on Jeep Safari (excellent gift from you) and it was great. The guide was very funny and helpful, and was not trying to sell things from his friends as we usually find everywhere. Rented a car for one day with Europcar and it was very nice too. We went diving with TOPDIVE there, Rangiroa and BoraBora (10 dives each of us). Very organised company.

Huahine - Greeting service and transfers efficient as always. Love the necklaces. We got lots of them... Went on a JetSky tour that as fabulous. Rented a car to drive along the Island as well (Europcar - they give 20% off for Accor Gold Member). Went for Dinner in New Te Marara, in Fare. Good restaurant, the only one there with good ambiance. Restaurant of Te Tiare also very good.

Hotel  Kia Ora - Rangiroa is a must-see. Fastastic. The hotel is a very nice resort. The best swimming pool and bar everywhere. Some problems with room and restaurant Manager (Pierre) but nothing that could bother us in ths dream. Dinner were at the hotel restaurant and self catering in our room. Greetings and farewell always there. Impressive ! Diving there is such an experience (Dolphins, sharks,...)

Kia Ora Sauvage - maybe the highlight of the trip. Great place, great people, the sea looked like mineral water. The place is unique. Meals were 9 out of 10. Tranfers were 10. Bernardo (the Host) is 11 out of 10.

Bora Bora - the most beautiful Island. We rented a car for a day, a boat for the next day and dives in the rest. Dinner in Sofitel Motu (most beautiful), in Sofitel Bora Bora Beach Resort and at the Le Maitai Polynesia. The last was the best one for the price. Excellent shrimps.

French Polynesia is probably the best place everywhere for a romantic trip. Everywhere we went, we only saw couples. So romantic....

- Jacques and Ckarmit, Brazil

We've been to Hawaii a lot and believe have seen the best of Hawaii, so we kind of knew what to expect of a tropical island, but Moorea on which we stayed for most of our trip was soooo much more beautiful! We all agree we like it better than Hawaii. My children will always remember how they fed the tropical fish on the beach just a few steps into the water with a piece of bread they sneaked from breakfast every day and I will never forget the first sunset on the night of our arrival which was as orange as you see on some postcards! And of course there are black pearls, French restaurants, unforgettable views!

All of our transitions and transfers were very smooth and well organized. Always on time and help was always provided when needed (we have over 10 pieces of luggage including children car seat and stroller). We forgot to unload one suitcase with all toiletries from the bus when arrived at InterContinental and the bag was delivered to us within a couple of hours.

All of the hotels we stayed in were very nice! We stayed 6 nights at Intercontinental Resort on Moorea in a very picturesque bungalow! Very private and tastefully decorated inside. Services and amenities exceeded our needs! I was impressed that all laundry was done the same day and delivered without extra reminders.

We actually liked the baggage tags very much, thank you! It was a nice touch. We used them on all checked in luggage and they were very easy to spot on a baggage wheel. We didn't use the provided bags on the trip though, but I'm sure they will come handy one way or another. Thank you again for your thoughtfullness and care!

I'm very impressed with all your help and service in general. The trip was organized exactly the way I wanted and despite many changes of my mind, our travel assistant was always extremely helful and understanding. I appreciate very much all your help with my travel Visa. The final package with lots of useful information and guides was a great aid! Your website is now on the list of my Favorites under Travel category. It is easy to navigate and I'm already planning the next trip.

- Lana B., California

Tahiti Travel Planners was nothing short of excellent. The staff helped us from start to finish. An absolutely professional organization that makes you feel valued. When we finally arrived on Moorea, your agent sent us a bottle of wine. That type of gesture was exactly what we needed and made us feel special. .....we felt very confident knowing that Tahiti Travel Planners was only a phone call away. We happily give your organization a 10 out of 10. We also thank you for your level of commitment.

- Max and Roisin, New York

Thank you so much.  We had the time of our lives!!!  Your information was dead on - we were the only couple in the groups of people that we met that had a reservation at Villa Mahana (everyone one wanted one but they were all booked up).  Bloody Mary's was fantastic also.

Transfers, meet and greet service, jeep excursion, and suggested restaurants were fantastic.  Villa Mahana may be the best Ihave ever been to.  The resort restaurants were ok - not fantastic but i think the Bora Bora Nui and the Intercontinental Thalasso Resort restaurants were better than the other resorts - although we did branch out to the St Regis Lagon Restaurant which was also excellent.  We did the private ray and shark feeding excursion with the lunch and bottle of wine on a private moto - this was awesome - we also bought the DVD of the whole experience - very expensive but well worth it.

Everything was amazing.  Expensive but worth it.  I am glad we did 1/2 our time at the Bora Bora Nui Resort and 1/2 time at the InterContinental Thalasso Spal on Bora Bora - they were 2 totally different experiences!!!!  You explained them perfectly which allowed me to make this great decision.  When we go back again we will split our time again because we still would like the 2 different experiences.

- Edward and Devon, Pennsylvania

Overall, this was for sure the greatest 2 weeks of our lives (I think I speak for my wife as well).  Being in Tahiti, Tahaa and Bora Bora was so relaxing and we got everything we wanted out of it.  We went somewhere very remote, we relaxed, we ate well, we swam with Sting Rays, tropical fish and sharks, we toured 2 islands; saw beautiful sunsets (picture) and most importantly, we were together in a very, very romantic, luxurious and beautiful setting for 2 weeks.

The service, hotel and amenities in Tahaa were out of this world.  The service in particular, was amazing.  For example, the day we arrived, we stopped at the front desk for an adapter to charge camera, when we got back, it was in the room.  The pool was very nice, but kind of small, not too many chairs but since there were not too many guests at the hotel it was not an issue.

The InterContinental Thalasso Spa was amazing as well.  When you do a massage or spa package there, they allow you to use their amenities and stay as long as you’d like.  My wife’s friends got us a couple’s massage.  It was a 2 hour massage followed by a private Jacuzzi with a bottle of Champagne.  From there, we utilized the other amenities there and hung around for another hour or two.

The rooms were both very nice and different from each other.  We loved the rooms in both stops.  In Tahaa, it was like a big, open 1 room studio versus the room in Bora Bora was more like a 1-bedroom apartment.    They do not have the feel of a “hotel room” which made us feel more like this was a special place, a special trip.

Tahiti Travel Planners assistance throughout the whole process, deciding on where to go, why to go there, how long, personal feedback from having been there, and adjusting the proposals and itineraries for us, sold us on using Tahiti Travel Planners and booking thru your agent.  She was so easy to work with and was extremely knowledgeable about anything we had questions on.

- Scott and Hayley, New York

The islands of Moorea and Bora Bora were amazing.  We were so impressed with the color of the water!!!  The workers at our resort and on our excursions were very friendly and we were very happy they all spoke some English!!!  The meet and greet services were very helpful.  We were never left wondering "What do we do next or where do we go now??"  We enjoyed all of our excursions but were a little disappointed with the Motu picnic.  We thought it would be a little more private and less commercialized, how it sounded in the explanation.  The shark and ray feeding and snorkeling right outside our bungalow was great!  It was neat how the restaurants came to pick us up and dropped us off!!!  We enjoyed all of our restaurant experiences. The hotels were wonderful, very clean and completely had the Tahitian feel.  The rooms, services and amenities were all flawless.  We enjoyed the bottles of champagne! .......we had a WONDERFUL time!  Thank you so much for all of your help.  We both truly appreciated everything you did to help our honeymoon be flawless!

- Jocelyn and Craig, New York

We can't thank you enough for everything you did to give us the perfect honeymoon.  Our experience was perfect - far exceeding our expectations.  We couldn't believe how you had taken care of every detail of our trip - we never had to worry or think about a thing.  We especially appreciated all of the added value that was included into our experience.  Thank you for everything - you were great to work with.

- Joan & Robert, Illinois

Each of the islands was charming and unique.  In Moorea we did take the 4x4 land tour. Our guide, Joslyn, was knowledgeable and funny.  We saw beautiful vistas, took a short hike to Belvedere point, and did went through the caldera.  We also did a lagoon trip, which was fun.  The Hibiscus had a really wonderful restaurant, which was actually less expensive than the surrounding ones. The bungalow was west-facing, and our lawn was quite the happening spot to watch the sun go down.

Huahine was so untouristed as an island that we got a chance to feel the culture without effort.  We took a 6-hour 4x4 tour around the island with a local guide, who again, explained his island thoroughly.  The island felt remote, while the amenities at the Relais Mahana were luxurious.  The bungalow was spectacular, definitely the nicest of the four. The restaurant had excellent fare, which was good since there was only one other place within walking distance.

Bora Bora was gorgeous. We found a great grocery store a short walk up the road, where the prices were very reasonable...there were very few foreigners there.  The bungalow was beautiful and comfortable at the Le Maitai

Raiatea was my favorite island.  We did the jungle hike up to the waterfalls, we snorkeled and swam a lot.  The staff there was completely perfect, helpful and kind.  It was peaceful and gorgeous. The overwater bungalow was so cool, with the window in the floor. They turned off all the lights at a reasonable time, so it was dark and restful at night.

You made the trip to easy that it seemed magical.  Everything was organized and easy, and the hotels were lovely. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job.

- Cassandra, Colorado

All of the islands met our expectations.  We would say Moorea met our expectations (was a great island, with nice sites, pretty good hotel, good service).  Bora Bora exceeded our expectations.  Hotel was nicer than we expected, island was amazing, perfect water, good food, perfect pace of life.

The InterContinental Moorea was decent. Pretty nice hotel, but we expected it to be a little more updated.  It seems like all the hotels on the island are a little dated.  This ended up being fine, because we are pretty easy going.  No problems at all, just not as pristine as we expected.  Very nice people though, and beautiful sites.  We may have done 30-40% of our time there instead of 50% if we did it again, but we are glad we went to Moorea.  The InterContinental Thalasso Bora Bora was amazing.  Great new facility.  Very large rooms that were clean and comfortable.  Great decks.  Nice staff.  Food was good.  Much better than in Moorea.  Fun activities, but also very easy to relax the day away there.  We really liked the hotel a lot.

When we landed in Tahiti, we had transfers right away, we turned to each other and said that we were really glad we used such a reliable agency. Your staff were very helpful, and if we did it again we would go through your again.  We would recommend them to anyone else as well.

- Brad and Erin, Illinois

Yes, the islands were beautiful and exceeded our expectations. I would rate the transfers, meet and greet service, excursions and restaurant experiences highly overall. Everything was very simple and we did not have to worry about being stranded anywhere or getting lost. The people on Moorea were much friendlier in terms of service and hospitality as compared to the people we met at Bora Bora.

The garden pool bungalows was beautiful at Moorea Pearl Resort. We were very pleased with the cleanliness and the size of the bungalow. The service and amenities were very nice as well. Whenever we called for anything, they came quite quickly.

We were able to get upgraded from the garden pool bungalow to an overwater bungalow at Bora Bora Pearl Resort for 3 out of the 5 nights we were there. We were happy we did the upgrade and though the bungalow was a good experience but enjoyed the garden pool bungalow we transfered to a bit more. Of course the convenience to the snorkeling is unparalleled though. The coral nursery they started is absolutely amazing.

The restaurant tips were great from the website. I would say that our planner was a great resource. She was wonderful in every way and I only wish she could help us plan our future trips to other places!! I will highly recommend her and your company.

- Jacqueline and Jason, New York

Our greatest expectations were exceeded by far.  The beauty of the islands defies description.  Although we took reading materials with us, we chose not to read but rather to simply soak in the sights, sounds, fragrance and culture of this paradise.

The "meet and greet" service was wonderful and dispelled any anxiety we may have had regarding transfers.

The Intercontinental on Tahiti was wonderful and the Intercontinental Resort and Thalasso Spa was even more so.  The views from each room were spectacular and the decor within each room was lovely. The concierge was incredibly helpful and everyone, without exception, was extremely pleasant.  Upon each encounter with someone, we were greeted by smiles and sing-song voices saying "Iaorana" or "Mauruuru".  The "American breakfast", which was included in the package was the best meal of the day.  We had expected a croissant with coffee and were quite surprised at the full array of buffet foods.  My husband would have preferred a "no meal" plan so as to allow for greater flexibility of which one meal of the day would be his largest.

Without reservation, we strongly recommend French Polynesia as a travel destination.  The islands are serene and pristine.  The people are gracious, friendly and eager to please.  Every need you may have is anticipated and met.  Everything about the islands can be described only in the most positive superlatives.  We have traveled extensively and have found this to be the most beautiful and most memorable trip, topping our heretofore favorites (Hawaii and Grand Cayman.

I would like to personally thank you for your gracious assistance in planning this most memorable trip.  I have already provided your business card and some duplicate Tahiti Travel Planners information about Tahiti, Bora Bora and the Intercontinental Resort and Thalasso Spa to two friends who have these islands on their "dream-trip" list.

-Barbara & Gino, Connecticut

The islands we visited were wonderful - Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora.  The transfers were always on time and ready for us.  Everything was arranged and prepared.  The meet and greet service was great also.  It made us feel more secure to know someone was waiting for us.  Even leaving Tahiti, we thought we would be on our own but someone was there to guide us to the airline counters to check in for our flight home.

The Aito 4x4 safari on Moorea was so much fun.  Our guide "Bubba" had excellent knowledge about the island.  He was so friendly, and so entertaining.  We really enjoyed ourselves.  He brought us up to Belvedere lookout point, he pointed out all the local flowers and fruits at the agriculture school.  We really learned a lot about Moorea itself with his guidance.  He prepared a special fruit snack for us.  It was really a great excursion to experience.

We actually also rented a car the day before the tour and drove around the island ourselves which was a nice escape.  We thought the safari would be the same thing that we already saw but it was "off the beaten" path and really showed us what Moorea was all about.  When we arrived at Moorea, we also booked tickets for the Tiki Village theater and the polynesian show.  It was a little overwhelming at first because it was our first day visiting Moorea and still adjusting to local time but the show was excellent - definitely a must see.

Our shark and ray excursion on Bora Bora was also great fun.  We got a nice tour of the entire lagoon and got to see where all the other hotels were in case we come back in the future.  The ray feeding was exciting and a little scary but the rays were so friendly.  The fish were also so colorful.  We got a very closeup view of the sharks but it was always safe.  The guides were very helpful and knowledgeable.  We also had a nice stop over on a private motu for a fruit picnic and more snorkeling on our own.  We also got a lovely DVD to capture the memories of the day.  It's also definitely a must do excursion.

Our dinner at Bloody Mary's was excellent as well.  The food was so tasty and we got to try some local seafood prepared for us.  We actually postponed our dinner one day and the staff at Pearl Beach helped to arrange it for us.

We have already started telling our friends and family.  It's such a great place to go.  We were able to relax yet also sight see without it being too overwhelming.  The whole trip went so smoothly and we really enjoyed ourselves.  Our family and friends are already enjoying the many pictures we took.  We can't wait to return there someday!

- Hazel and Rick, Illinois

Overall we enjoyed our vacation, tremendously. Tikehau was above all our favorite of all places!! I wished we stayed there a little longer. From the welcome to the departure, our expectations were exceeded. The conch shell welcome with wet towels and drink just set the whole atmosphere. The over water suite was extraordinary! We had the last one on the pier so there was an unobstructed view of the sea before us and the sunsets every night. The whole entire time we felt as though we were on our own private island. An added touch was the anniversary cake they surprised us with one night at dinner.

I know we have told at least 10 people about it and recommended it as a must do vacation. Yes we would recommend your company to anyone that we talk to about it. Your agent did a fantastic job accommodating all of our requests and changes quickly. I appreciated her prompt responses and detailed information she provided for every question we had up until the few days before we left. We will absolutely do Tahiti again!!

- Danah and Devon, Virginia

The island of Bora Bora met our expectations, especially where we stayed at Pearl Beach, it was fantastic!  The sunset catamaran gave us a chance to go around the other side of the island and see the other resorts, we would definatly consider ours the nicest looking and upkept!  We were very happy with our choice.  The transfers were great, as was the service and restaurants.  We did take a snorkeling excursion that was wonderful as well.

Iit was a great experience.  It was beautiful, the snorkeling and kyacking was great, and overall very relaxing.  In addition we loved being able to go to the main island to the village, it gave us a chance to see another culture.  How they live and their way of life is completly differant, and interesting.

We would recommend Tahiti Travel Planners to our friends and family. We were given a complimentary dinner at Bloody Marys and a sunset catamaran cruise.  We talked to many couples we received nothing but what they chose to order from their travel agency.

-Kacy & Keely, Arizona

Having been to Bora Bora previously, we more or less knew what to expect there. As to Maupiti, it was everything we had hoped for and more. Conditions are primitive on the island and options limited compared with the more developed of the Society Islands, so it probably isn't suitable for many travelers - especially those looking for anything similar to Bora Bora or Moorea. For us, it was exactly what we had hoped it would be. Secluded, quiet, pristine, charming, and authentic. The staff at the Pension Kuriri were an absolute treat. Jean, who is the most wonderful and gracious host I have ever known, made the experience a true delight, and ensured that we will forget neither him nor Maupiti as long as we live. Sharing dinner with Jean and the other guests each evening gave the experience such an intimate feeling as well. It seemed as if a group of travelers were marooned and quickly decided they didn't require rescuing. We both look forward to our return trip already. I should also mention the dive staff at Blue Nui at the Pearl Beach. They were wonderful to dive with, and Gilles deserves special recognition for his obvious passion and sense of humor.

We have been giving these islands and the people of these islands 11 out of 5 stars for 5 years, and will continue to do so. The beauty of the scenery is stunning, the climate and natural rhythem of life will not allow you to remain stressed or hurried, and the people are among the warmest and most genuine you are likely to meet anywhere on the planet. If you snorkel, dive, or sail - that is additional decoration on an already iced cake. French Polynesia is Paradise.

Again, we recommend TTP to anyone we meet who is considering a trip to French Polynesia. Your have worked tirelessly with us twice now to create perfect honeymoon and anniversary trips. Based on what we've seen - and were able to compare - as far as connections and transfers go - TTP works with the very best on location as well.

- Doug and Natalie, Ohio

Bora Bora was beautiful and absolutely met our expectations!!  The transfers made life a lot easier and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The excursions we went on were definitely worth it and our tour guides at the Lagoonarium were hilarious!!  We are picky about our food and don't like trying new things or seafood, so there wasn't a whole lot to choose from. We really enjoyed La Bounty and our hotel restaurant on the beach was handy. Our favorite was the continental breakfast, there was a wonderful selection of different things and the croissants were awesome!  We would stay there again just for that breakfast!

La Maitai was the best hotel! We would no doubt about it stay there again!  All the workers were so friendly and accommodating. They were more then willing to help us with reservations and booking tours or if we had a problem in the room.  We loved our garden view room and the overwater bungalow was beautiful.  We did have a lot of bugs in our overwater room, tiny little beetles or ants, so we used the bug spray they provided a lot.  The hotel had basically everything we needed.  We could book tours there, we could rent bikes out in front, and they were in a very good location, within walking distance to our favorite beach.  If we go back, I would stay there again.

- Amy and Michael, Arizona

We thought the trip was wonderful!  Transfers, meet and greet were both very helpful and easy to deal with.

You guys were great! We were able to get the trip cheaper than I could have booked it and it was nice that everything was taken care of... typically we plan our own trips and then have to keep up with the details.

- Monica and Edward, North Carolina

What we got with TTP that we didn’t get anywhere else was the feeling someone was with us every step of the way and that we had a seasoned advisor when preparing.

- Gib and Jessie

We only visited Bora Bora and it totally exceeded our expectations – it REALLY is as beautiful as the pictures make it out to be. Transfers were extremely helpful – we would not have been able to make it on our own. The transfers were always on time.

The excursions were very neat – we did the shark and sting ray feeding, as well as rented at dune buggy to tour the island. We thought it was better to just relax and soak it all in, rather than fill our days with activities. There definitely are plenty of things to do though!

Restaurants/food was amazing. ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations. Our visit to La Villa Mahanna is now at the very top of our “Best EVER Dining Experience” list. We were somehow “awarded” the private table upstairs/outside. It was truly a magical experience.

For the last several weeks I have been trying to find the right words to describe the fun we had and to thank you for your great work. However, I’ve concluded that mere words cannot begin to express the fun we had nor describe the incredible beauty we saw. One must actually go to French Polynesia to understand.

Nevertheless, I want to thank you and your company for the wonderful service that you provided. Your knowledge of the islands was truly outstanding and we were impressed with your quick and thorough responses to our questions and requests during the planning stage of our vacation. Additionally, the coordination and implementation of our trip was flawless. All flights, transportation transfers, hotel reservations and excursions occurred as planned and with ease for us -- requiring little effort on our part. Thank you also for the thoughtful birthday cake and bottle of wine. What a nice mid-afternoon treat and surprise they were.

In closing, I cannot say enough about how truly wonderful our trip was and how much we enjoyed working with you. We have already recommended you to many of our friends and hope to return to the “Enchanted Isles” soon.

- Dennis & Sally, Virginia

Thanks for your note, and we are glad to share our wonderful experiences with you. Please see our responses to the questions below, and thank you again for helping us plan a memorable honeymoon. It was such a pleasure working with you!

Yes, each island was beautiful and offered unique qualities, making us extremely glad that we visited all three. All of our transfers were punctual and friendly, the meet and greets were excellent, and our excursions were wonderful. The sunset sail that you booked for us on Moorea was one of the highlights of the trip, as we saw a gorgeous full arc rainbow over the mountains in addition to a picturesque sunset. The crew was great too. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we booked a second sunset sail on Bora Bora as well.

Other activities and excursions that we booked on our own included bike rentals through the hotels (Rangiroa and Bora Bora), massages (Moorea), a jet ski tour (Bora Bora), and scuba diving (Moorea, Rangiroa, Bora Bora). All were fantastic.

All of the hotels were luxurious, friendly and accommodating, with good restaurants. Outside of the hotel restaurants we also enjoyed Alfredo's on Moorea, Matira Beach (excellent!), Bloody Mary's and Ben's Snack on Bora Bora, and Vaimario (excellent) on Rangiroa.

We received a very nice upgrade at the Intercontinental on Moorea to one of their top overwater bungalows, and very much enjoyed our stay there.  Great service in the restaurant, by the concierge, and by all of the staff we encountered.

Kia Ora was so picturesque, with very nice service as well.  It obviously is not quite as swanky as the other hotels we stayed in, but the service was friendly and we received everything that we needed.  The pool is especially gorgeous, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Hotel Bora Bora was incredible.  The personal greeting, the managers cocktail hour, the restaurant staff, etc. were all outstanding.  My favorite touches were the welcome and send off with the guest service managers, the hand written notes from the manager, the complimentary fruit tarts sent to our room mid-way through our stay, and the restaurant staff knowing us by name.  The service here was truly beyond my expectations.  The bungalow was spacious, well appointed, with a charming bathroom.  I found that I did miss having a pool, although my husband really enjoyed the snorkeling - we saw rays, eels, turtles, etc.  I can't say that I recommend the beach restaurant for lunch, but the main restaurant (Matira Terrace) was excellent for breakfast and dinner.

You had great recommendations, was a pleasure to work with, and communicated everything to us very well. Everything went so smoothly on our trip, and I would definitely recommend Tahiti Travel Planners to anyone I know.

- Brian and Brooke, New Jersey

Bora Bora was fantasic. Very beautiful and enjoyable. The transfers were seemless and without problems. At Pearl Beach we were treated individually with no waiting. They briefed us in an open air lounge with a beverage and moist towel. That's the way it should be and we were very pleased with the special treatment.

Hotel was outstanding. Rooms and amenities were great. While we enjoyed the Premium Garden Suite, if we had it to do over again, we would have rather paid the extra for having the overwater for the whole time instead of just the last 4 nights. The overwater bungalow was beyond description. Being able to look out over the deck at the crystal water was just unbeleivable. They brought champagne and chocolate cake on the first night of our arrival and then a fruit platter the evening before we left.

We're typically the kind of people who plan our own trips. But going to such a foreign place, we felt it would be prudent to use an agent. And since you all do these trips exclusively and know your stuff in Tahiti, we went with your company. We were pleased we did and it made for a much less stressful trip than if we had attempted to organize it all ourselves. Thanks again for helping us plan the trip.

- Roger and Virginia, Tennessee

We had the most amazing honeymoon...all thanks to you!! Everything you advised us on was so accurate and exactly what we were looking for. We could not have asked for more, other than more time in Tahiti :) Thank you soo much!

Transfers/service/excursions were all A+. We particularly loved the Shark/Ray/Motu Picnic excursion that we did in Bora Bora. Restaurants were ok. In Moorea, our favorite was a newer restaurant called Rudy's....nice ambiance, good food/service, and air conditioned (which is a rarity in Tahiti). We also went to Te Hono Iti in Moorea, which was good....In Bora Bora, Bloody Mary's was fun! Also, our best evening was the private Tahitian bbq on our deck in Bora Bora...definitely recommend to other honeymooners!

Hotels exceeded our expectations and we loved the fact that both resorts were quite different in their own way...exactly what you told us we would expect at both resorts we did. The Moorea Pearl was extremely charming, cozier, clean, and great for us! The private plunge pool was a nice option at that resort. You were definitely right that it was not worth spending the extra money for the beach bungalow at the pearl. We loved our bungalow.

The Bora Bora Nui was AMAZING! They accomodated your request for bungalow #106. However, the resort was not completely full and they did not offer to upgrade us. The staff was extremely friendly, service, amenities and all were great. Good food at the resort as well and so private and the perfect way to end the honeymoon. Also, the general manager (Rui), guest relations manager, and staff all waved us good bye as we left on our ferry....talk about customer service. We felt like they were family.

Everything you provided us with was detailed, perfect, and I've already recommended you to other friends planning on going to Tahiti. We were completely satisfied and would be happy to endorse you further in any way possible.

You took the time to make sure all of our questions were answered, provided detailed and accurate information, set our expectations correctly of what to expect at each resort and on the islands. Can't say enough about how happy we were with your services.

- Joy and Juan, New Jersey

The islands of Tahitit & Bora-Bora were actually more beautiful than we thought, with the people being very friendly and any day trips were a pleasant experience. Your setting up of all tranfers, flights, excursions, room bookings were flawless, with everything working without a hitch. Too many " likes " to describe, no " dislikes " to talk about.

Both the Intercontinental in Papeete & the Pearl Beach in Bora-Bora were excellent, with the free upgrade to an over-water hut at the Intercontinental a lovely bonus. Waking up to blue water, blue sky and the island of Moorea as a background was pretty nice. Staff at both hotels were very friendly & helpful with any trips we took which were kind of "off the beaten path".

Absolutely, we would recommend French Polynesia. Beyond beautiful islands, very nice, friendly people, felt very safe everywhere we went, were never hassled to buy stuff at markets or at any vendors shops. It is not a cheap place to visit but is an experience that anyone who loves to travel has to see & do. I hope it always stays the way it is, as it is maybe the best destination we have been to yet.

- Randy and Madonna, Canada

We loved the location--beach, over the water bungalow location, and the overall layout--of the Sheraton Lagoon Resort in Moorea.  The hotel has a long stretch of fine white sand beach, enclosed in a bay where trade wind is rare, that is only 5 minutes' snorkel/swim away from our bungalow.  In between the hotel sand beach, where the main bar and restaurant is, and our bungalow, the water is turquoise, clear, shallow, with schools of beautiful tropical fish swimming around.  We easily bumped into  sea cucumbers, sea urchins, flutes, eels and so many other beautiful fish while snorkeling outside our bungalow.  We also visited the hotel pool, which is just perfect for families with small children. This was the most beautiful and tranquil tropical location we have visited.  It was just absolutely wonderful.  Services in this hotel, however, needs improvement.  I found out from talking to other friends who have been to the French Polynesian isles that "being laid back" seems to be a typical Tahitian culture.  While we adjusted our pace to this pace of life in Moorea, we did notice that staff in the main restaurant staffs often times just forgot our drink orders or if the kitchen was out of ingredients for a specific main dish, the chef would simply cook it with whatever was available and the wait staff did not know or notice the difference. We never did let these minor issues bother us.  We simply coped by placing the same order with at least two wait staffs. One day, when the room service did not show up, we simply went out to the pool to grab some pool towels and found other stuffs we needed inside the hotel facility.   Everyone was so friendly and charming.  Having breakfast and dinner included was an excellent idea, because we truly relaxed inside this all-inclusive resort.  We also ventured out to do ATV riding and Aquablue activities--both were just fun and unique.  Moorea has its magical simplicity and charm that is truly hard to forget.

In Bora Bora, we immediately noticed the superb hotel service at Le Meridien.  The food was exquisite and service, exceptionally intimate.  Our bungalow is artfully designed inside, with a perfectly firm bed for us, and a sofa turned day bed for our daughter.

We used both the sport pack and luggage tags. The sport pack was especially useful in all of our outdoor activities.   Thank you for thinking for us.  I saw other travel agents providing a tote bag for their customers, and I was very glad that we have chosen Tahiti Travel Planners, an agency that obviously knows about what everyone needs while vacationing in Tahiti.  The enclosed literature also explains all important things in detail.  We felt totally ready for this experience when we left from LAX to Tahiti.

Everyone needs to go to French Polynesia to experience what true beauty and tranquility our nature has to offer us.  Every couple needs to go, because it is the most romantic spot we have experienced thus far. Every stressed-out individual needs to go to French Polynesia to relax, re-invigorate, and re-prioritize our own life.  And every lucky child going to the French Polynesia will forever remember this most beautiful place in the world.

Thank you so much for our lovely, wonderful, beautiful, fantastic, marvelous, magnificient trip!!!!

Everything was great! The people so friendly and the place was awesome!!!

Tahiti met our expectations, the transfers were there upon our arrival, and quickly took us to our destination, the room was very nice and the bed was comfortable we did not get a chance to see a lot, as it was just one night. The service was very friendly and professional. The hotel clerk gave us directions to our room, our luggage was delivered to our room, and the guy gave us instructions on how to use the light fixtures which are different than the fixtures in United States

Boro Bora exceeded our all of expectations. Transfers were there upon our arrival and was very friendly, professional, and informative. The greet service was outstanding with coconut tropical drinks awaiting us.

We did appreciate the luggage tags and put them on our luggage before our trip and sport-pack which I wore several days on our excursions.

Your planner did an outstanding job explaining all the steps toward the making the trip. This was our first trip to the South Pacific.Your website was very easy to navigate. I did most of my communicating over the phone and email. The itinerary was very well planned, I would not change anything. It will be my pleasure to recommend Tahiti Travel Planners, because I have first hand experience working with TTP.

- Beatrice and Michael, California

Thank you so much for all of your help. We sang your praises many times during our trip. We were very happy with the island choices.  The transfer services and logistics worked perfectly.  We were so impressed and pleased not to worry about those details. The hotels were truly wonderful.  The staff and people in general went above and beyond to make us feel special.

- Jennifer and Chris, Pennsylvania

The islands were even more beautiful than the pictures! The Polynesian people are truly beautiful both in their physical appearance and in their spirits. All our experiences with the transfers and services were positive. We had a great experience with the planning of the trip. You were a delight to work with! We do not typically use travel agents; however, our experience with Tahiti Travel Planners was great!

We had thought of going to French Polynesia for years and years; we just never went. It is a great destination; we all had a great time and truly enjoyed the Polynesian environment. We would recommend it to friends and family.

- Lucretia and Ray, Georgia

The hotels were great.  We stayed at 2 Sofitel Hotels.  The one in Papeete had a beautiful view of the mountain, it was very clean and comfortable.  The Sofitel in Bora Bora was gorgeous.  The staff was extremely nice and made our stay very enjoyable.  The two women Nano and Anita that worked at the activity desk were extremely helpful and answered any questions we had.  I was so impressed with our room.  We had a garden bungalow and it was so pretty and cozy, I loved it.

The meet and greet service was excellent.  We were informed of where we needed to go and greeted by friendly people that gave us all he information we needed.  For excursions we went on the shark and ray feeding, jeep 4X4 tour, and a catamaran cruise all in Bora Bora.  Each one was great.

I would definitely recommend French Polynesia.  The people were very nice there.  Everyone spoke English which was comforting in a place where I've never been before.  The sights were beautiful and there was plenty of things to do around there.

I have already recommend TTP to my friends and family.  I had quite a few couples waiting for us to get back from the honeymoon to see how we liked it.  I told all those couples how helpful TTP was and how I enjoyed working with your agent and how helpful she was in answering any questions I had.

- Erin and Jason, Massachusetts

Bora Bora was amazing, everything was great. The most beautiful place ever. The island exceeded our expectations. The pictures do not do justice to how island actualy appears. The transfers were easy. The meet and greet was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.  We enjoyed the bar and meeting all the other guests.  The dislike was that the food was only fair and too expensive. (We expected the expensive part, but not the fair part.)

The bungalows at the Pearl Beach Resort are spectacular. I recommend to everyone to enjoy the Premium Overwater Bungalow. The sunsets were amazing and the lagoon was terrific.

The website was easy to navigate. Your agent was amazing in her service and assistance. I only completed the information form and a day later I had as much information as I could have hoped for. All the detailed information really helped us make the decision. Your agent offered more infomation than our regular travel agent that we use locally. Also, she followed up and answered any questions in a very, very timely fashion. She was amazing.

I recommend Frenc Polynesia to any and everyone. I think it is an experience of a lifetime and one that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy.

- Pat and Jeannie, New York

We really enjoyed our stays on Bora Bora and Manihi.

The Sofitel Motu was a nice place to stay, and we did get the room we had requested which was really nice.  They have a very nice meet and greet at the property.    Food and service were both adequate.    We really enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Villa Mahana, it was by far one of the best meals we have ever had.  Cost was about $250.00 for a glass of wine, dinner and dessert for two.

Manihi was also very nice, we did upgrade to the rooms with air-conditioning because of the heat.  We really liked where we could left the top off the table top in the room off and feed the fish directly.  We thought this was a very nice property.  We enjoyed that the menu changed daily for dinner

Thank you for the bottle of wine you sent to us on Bora Bora. We also got the wine and cheese plate that my family ordered for us at the Intercontinental on our first night on Tahiti.  It was very, very nice.  You had great advice to stay there on our first night, instead of at one of the cheaper hotels in town.   We were happy we stayed at the Intercontinental on our first night.  You were right, it was a very nice way to start our vacation.

- Roxann and Steve, Colorado

We loved Moorea and Bora Bora. The transfers were all very smooth, the meet and greet very nice. The people were extremely nice, polite and very helpful. We loved the Sheraton Moorea, our beach front bungalow was very nice and the perfect location. All the grounds were very nice. The pool is beautiful, the show they put on at night was very good, and we enjoyed the food very much. Tina at the activities desk was so much fun and so helpful. We did receive the bottle of wine you sent with the nice little welcoming note, we appreciated the thought very much, I even saved the note, but since we don't drink alcohol we gave the bottle of wine to her, She was very excited. It made us feel great as well.

We went to the Tiki village theatre, it was great. We ate at Te Honu Iti, the food was very good and the service great. I had the Mahi Mahi with Tahaa Vanilla Sauce, it was wonderful! We also ate at a little snack place just down the road from the Sheraton, The shrimp were wonderful, and we enjoyed the walk down there. We rented a car from the hotel activities desk and drove all around the island, it was fun to see things at our own pace, we drove up to Belvedere Lookout, I was so impressed! We took the ferry over to Tahiti one day, and rented a car from Avis there to see the island, it was beautiful as well.

We spent two full days just hanging out at the beach at the Sheraton, I loved that you could snorkel right from there and see a huge variety of fish, we loved the crepes at the hut bar, the weather was perfect, not a cloud in the sky the whole four days we were there. We could have easily stayed there for a bit longer.  I loved the natural look of the island, there are no tall buildings, no high rise hotels, no large commercialization, it was still pretty natural looking. We didn't have enough time to eat at all the places you recommended. But I guess that just gives a really good reason to go back.

Then we went to Bora Bora. We had an overwater bungalow there at the Le Meridien, it was fun and very nice. We were so glad that we stayed there, it is so crowded and congested down by the Matira Point. The lagoon is beautiful, we snorkeled and swam and kayaked and sailed right from there. We did the shark and ray feeding excursion. It was wonderful! I loved the guys that took us out, they played their guitars and ukuleles and sang all the way around the lagoon and pointed out different resorts all the way. It was very fun. We ate at Bloody Marys, it was excellent! We rented a car from Europcar and drove around the island twice it was so fun. We were excited with the t-shirt and the pareo from the Le Meridien that was there upon check in. We enjoyed being out on the motu. The boat would take us for free to the mainland, operating every hour at least, and there was a phone and a little grocery store right at the boat dock, that we could call home, or buy some less expensive munchies, more of that wonderful baguette bread, and the Rotui fruit drinks that I loved. I loved the slow, laid back pace. It was so nice to sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings for 2 short weeks.

I think we enjoyed Moorea the most, we loved being able to snorkel right from our beach, where as on Bora Bora in order to see very many fish you had to go to the corral gardens on a boat tour, we also got a couple days of rain while on Bora Bora, so we didn't sit on the beach as much, which we would have enjoyed, but both places are wonderful and I wouldn't wanted to have missed either. Also we are fairly casual and Moorea was a little more casual than Bora Bora.

I loved using your website, it was very helpful, I could look at it every day, I studied, and just got more and more excited, it was very easy to get around, and I loved being able to email you with any specific questions I had, you always replied in a timely manner and was very helpful. I would definitely recommend French Polynesia to anyone who loves relaxing, playing in the sun and water. We also had a great time trying all the new food, some we loved, some we didn't but that is part of the fun. I would definitely recommend Tahiti Travel Planners to my friends and family as well. It is nice to book a vacation through someone who has traveled there and knows the area and can make some recommendations. I would love to go back to French Polynesia to see some more of the islands and I will for sure be in contact. Once again thank you so much!  We had a great time largely due to your planning, and careful attention to details.

- Bruce & Pam, Idaho

The islands exceeded our expectations.  All of the meet and greet services and transfers worked very well.  The restaurants were better than what we expected – we had two solid weeks of gourmet French food.  For travelers who enjoy swimming and snorkeling, we recommend Manihi and Bora Bora Sofitel Motu.  In the Tuomotus, underwater visibility inside the lagoon is good, but visibility outside the lagoon on the outer reef is spectacular.  Manihi Pearl offers a snorkeling boat trip outside the lagoon every day (about 20 bucks per person) to a place called the “drop-off” that definitely should be taken a couple of times.  We found that the resort dive masters (for scuba divers) weren’t much use to us as snorkelers, as they were totally preoccupied with teaching scuba and getting the divers’ certification procedures completed.  Snorkeling inside the lagoon on Bora Bora was very good, but we would have enjoyed at least one snorkeling trip outside the lagoon, and such trips are not included in Sofitel Motu’s extensive list of activities.

The resorts were all excellent.  Manihi was all-around the best because of the seclusion and privacy, plus good swimming and snorkeling.  Tikehau was also secluded and private, but the shallow water made swimming and snorkeling in the ocean problematic.  Bora Bora Sofitel Motu would have won the good resort award, except that these bungalows aren’t as private and secluded as Manihi or Tikehau.  For other travelers going down there in our winter, we’d definitely recommend booking air-conditioned bungalows.  We left all the windows and doors wide open during the day, but at night the AC made sleeping much more comfortable.  When the trade winds die down, it gets really hot and humid.  The glass table in our Manihi bungalow was delightful, with tons of fish on view.  On Tikehau we stayed at a premium beach bungalow (this was a good recommendation, Chloe) which was fine because you don’t see as many fish on Tikehau as on Manihi.  We could see some fish through the glass table at the Sofitel Motu, but not nearly as many as we saw at Manihi Pearl.

Even the best web site cannot convey all of the information you want when making an itinerary.  Your personal recommendations were the magic ingredient. Off-season (our winter) is definitely the time to go to French Polynesia, because there are very few other guests at the resorts and you get lots of attention and privacy.

We would recommend French Polynesia to friends and family who are in good health and enjoy the tropical waters.  You want to be sensitive to the slightly more formal manners at French resorts.  Not a good place for children, unless they are exceptionally well behaved.  You want to make a little extra effort to learn a few phrases in French and Tahitian, it makes a lot of difference in how you get treated.

It’s hard to say now what we’ll want in the future, since we’re just getting over jet lag.  We sure can’t afford vacations like this every year.  But of all of the vacations in the tropical Pacific we have taken (Fiji once, Hawaii many times) French Polynesia is without question the best.  The atomospherics of a French colony, and the lack of development, made the islands seem like an idyll from 100 years ago.

- Mike & Barbara, California

We loved Bora Bora and Tahaa. Both far surpassed our expectations, especially Tahaa. We've never seen a more simple and beautiful way of life than on tha Vanilla Island :)We rented Bugxsters on both islands which allowed us to see the main islands, both of which turned out to be excellent adventures! Spa treatment at Le Meridien was very good. Transfer from Bora Bora to Tahaa in the helicopter was one of the most incredible experiences we've ever had...amazing views, we'd highly recomend it to anyone...worth the xtra $$. Restaurants were all great.

At Le Meridien they addressed my husband as soon as we got there and let us know they could do anything to cater to his dietary needs, which they most certainly did. The only recommendation I would give to potential travelers to either of our hotels is to let them know that if they are not huge eaters (which my husband and I eat small portions rather than huge meals)... let them know that they do not have to get the buffett at breakfast and dinner. At our first breakfast we didn't realize we could order a la carte...and we ended up paying $70 for a couple eggs and some sausages because it was considered "buffett". So we ordered a la carte for every meal after that and it worked out fine.

The concierges (George and Fabrice) at Le Tahaa actually brought the executive chef to our table the first night and translated Chris' allergies to him, and he created a special dish for him every night, all of which were simply amazing!

Le Meridien was awesome. Glass panels in the floor were unreal. Great view....only could have been improved if we were actually facing the huge mountain top, but we were happy as clams, we saw it just as we stepped out the door. excellent room, beautiful decor. We LOVED the turtle sanctuary...we spent time with them every day. We were shocked that more people did not, but it worked out great because most of the time we were the only ones in there with them. For future travelers, tell them to avoid the 10:30am feeding (which is kind of a madhouse of people taking pictures) and tell them to go either early in the morning or in the afternoon....they'll have a much better chance of getting some incredible time with the sealife....alone! We didnt think it could get any better....until we went to Le Tahaa.

You were right!!!! Simply incomparable!! I literally laughed out loud when the lady opened the door to our terrace and sundeck. It was HUGE!!!! And then the bungalow was incredible. So well set up with the bed in the middle, so much space, and the bathroom and jacuzzi was simply beautiful. I never thought I would spend as much time in a pool in a location such as this, but it was so great....you are practically ON the beach when you are in the pool, and the view is second to none. Vanille restaurant was unreal....we felt like we were in a luxurious treehouse. any having a drink at the bar in the restaurant was beautiful....looking out of the main arch of the hotel into the water and Tahaa. Eric Raynoud, the concierge, was hands down the best representative from any accomodation that we've visited, and we've been all over the world. Chris and I wanted to get native Tahitian tattoos and Eric went so far as to make the appointments for us...with the most reputable artist in Raiatea, arrange for the boat transfer, arrange for the taxi to take us around Raiatea for the day and be on call for us when we were finished and take us shopping and to the airport. He was just phenomenal. There was nothing we could want for. To say that he and the reat of the staff catered to us is an understatement.

You were an absolute joy to work with!!!! Your descriptions and knowledge of the islands and resorts was inspiring. We felt like we had such a great idea of where we were going because of you. I really cannot say enough about your assistance. We are already planning to go back to the islands (perhaps Tahaa, Raiatea, Huahine, etc), and there is no doubt we will be contacting you! We would also like to plan vacations to the other islands in the South Pacific, like the Marquesas and Tonga, etc. Website was great but the best part was working with you, as the ultimate knowledgeable guide to our favorite trip of all time ...so far!

- Melinda & Chris, Massachussetts

Ia Orana !!!   Did the islands meet my expectations?  They far exceeded my expectations.  I knew Bora Bora would be phenominal but was unfamiliar with Moorea and Manihi.  Every island was amazing and beautiful, unique to themselves, and worth all the effort of going to each one.  The transfers, meet and greet, excursions, etc. were all perfect.  Every single person who was supposed to meet us, assist us or take us on excursions were PRECISELY on time and very professional.  Could not have been better.

The Intercontinental hotel on Tahiti is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous landscaping and pools.  We only had breakfast there but their buffet was very good.  The beach house at the Intercontinental on Moorea was in the perfect location, with our own private little beach right in front, close to the pool, restaurant and beach.  The room was beautiful and clean, thank you very much for the wine too!

The Intercontinental Thelasso on Bora Bora was AMAZING!! The most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at.  The staff, from the gentleman who met us at the dock ( Phillipe, I think ) to the waiters to the housekeepers were all impeccable.  The maid service was unintrusive yet as if they were watching us as we came and went. They came every morning, made the beds, checked the mini bar, etc.  They came again while we were at dinner and changed the towels we had used for our showers, turned down the beds and even left us pastries!!  Excellent!!!  The room and the resort itself were absolutlely gorgeous, huge and worth every penny.

Manihi was such a drastic change, took a day to get used to, but again, worth all the effort.  Total isolation and seclusion, very relaxing.  The aquatic life in the water around our overwater bungalow was better than any other entertainment that could be offered.

The Radisson back on Tahiti was very nice.  A little off the beaten track and the black sand beach was beautiful.  We'd never seen one before and we really enjoyed swimming there.

I would, have and will recommend not only Tahiti but your travel agency, and in particular, you, to any one who will listen to me!!  We would like to return to Bora Bora again in the future, maybe in five years, for many reasons but I personally would like to see all the landscaping after it's grown up around the Thelasso.  No, I would not change anything about the itinerary we set up at all and, yes, please send me any travel specials you guys have going on.  Thank you again and I hope we can work together on a trip again soon.

- Elizabeth & George, New York

Everything went very smoothly.  Thank you so much for all of the extra time you put in to make our trip work.  Jes and I thought you did a great job and we were very happy with our results.  We loved the places we stayed at.  They all offered something different, which in the end made for a really great trip.  You will always have our recommendation.

- Jes & Chris, Illinois

It was very beautiful and well worth the cost/time of getting there. It was a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. I can't imagine a better honeymoon or even a relaxing vacation with friends. The meet and greet service/transfer service was incredible.  We thoroughly enjoyed knowing that we didn't have to worry about when or how we were going to get to the next destination.

Overall we were very impressed with the islands. Hotel Tiare, Papeete:  A nice hotel as a short stay/transfer.  It was close to the airport and in the heart of downtown.  We felt safe, the room was clean, and the staff was friendly.  We enjoyed being close to banks and being able to walk around Papeete a bit, but would not really want to stay at the hotel or in the area more than 1 night. Downtown Papeete was a little busier than we would have liked, but our length of stay was very short.  I think if we were going to do it again we would find a hotel in a more relaxed atmosphere and stay an extra day.  After 24 hours of traveling we were both ready to settle down for a bit and not jump back on a plane.

Moorea and Bora Bora were both BEAUTIFUL.  Neither of us were prepared for how incredible it would be. Moorea Pearl:  Beautiful.  We enjoyed being welcomed with fruit juice and leis.  Our room was gorgeous. We had an overwater bungalow that had a view of the mountain, the lagoon (a little bit), and the beach bungalows.  The water was shallow enough to jump in and cool off (waist deep).  We were very happy with the view and would not have traded for a premium.  We enjoyed the diversity of our view.  Possibly worthwhile to know that there was not really a beach available for the garden bungalows or the hotel proper.  The staff was very friendly and helpful with several visits from cleaning staff every day.  The hotel was a 5 minute walk from a grocery store which was a HUGE help since restaurants were so expensive.  The pool was beautiful and we really enjoyed the ability to use kayaks at our leisure.

On Moorea we visited the Tiki Village and took the Safari Jeep Tour.  Tiki village put on a nice show.  I'm not sure we would recommend the dinner buffet.  The Safari Jeep Tour was somewhat sub-par.  Entertaining tour guide who drove us to a beautiful mountaintop, but otherwise the tour was uneventful and the sites were not impressive.

Bora Bora Pearl:  Much larger than the Moorea pearl.   Beautiful grounds and garden with wonderful amenities.  We had a beach bungalow which was wonderful.  We enjoyed having our own private backyard/hot tub as well as reserved hammock and lounge chairs on the beach.  Once again the staff was very friendly and helpful.   The water was great in that it was very shallow and sandy for a long distance.  Made for nice walks in the water.   The one complaint we had is that it was pretty difficult to get anywhere away from the hotel.  They had a water shuttle that ran every 15 minutes which took you to the main island.  But they only offered a ground shuttle every 2 hours or so.   If you did not time if properly the cab ride into town was $20-$40.  There was a lot to do at the hotel and several restaurants, but it would have been nice to have easier access to shops and restaurants.  Still, we would HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

On Bora Bora we went on the private tour/shark feeding/sting ray/picnic with Keishi Tours.  Highly recommend it.  Well worth the money.  The meal alone would have cost nearly half the price  of the tour if you were to get it in one of the local restaurants.

Our expectations were definitely met, and often exceeded. Papeete transfers from the airport & from the boat were a bit confused & not as well signed as could have been, but they did an excellent job considering the volume of people they were juggling, so no complaints there. They were prompt and efficient. Elsewhere, all meet & greet & transfers were superb. We hadn't pre-booked any excursions or meals.....but had no problems with any we booked as we went along.

Mo'orea....We booked Club Bali Hai on our own (revisiting good memories) and, although a bit dated, would still recommend it with the proviso that only overwater & beach bungalows be considered.  Other units were less expensive but generally had very unhappy clients.  The location and ambience are terrific.

Huahine...Fare Maeva was quite fine, though the location left a bit to be desired as we hadn't realized it was so far off the main road.  The friendly family-run atmosphere gave the feel of Polynesia and offset the location.  My fractured French was often needed here, as English was limited.  Food in the restaurant was very good and very reasonably priced by Polynesian standards.   The continental breakfast which was included, was generous and very good.

Raiatea...Hawaiki Nui was absolutely wonderful and we wished we'd had more time there.  We only had two meals in their restaurant and it was fine tho' a bit pricey.  We picked up breakfast & lunch snacks to eat on our terrance, in hopes of losing a few pounds gained from the bountiful meals on the Aranui!!  Snorkling was excellent right off the deck in front of the resort , and no excursion is really needed.

Bora Bora... Le Maitai Polynesia was also absolutely wonderful.  We were delighted with our decision to opt for the more economical ocean view room, as the view was truly stunning.   The rather long walk up & down was fine, good exercise for us, but could be problematic for anyone with mobility problems.  We often ate dinners at their beach side restaurant and found the food good & reasonable.....but picked up food from the nearby supermarket for breakfast and lunch.  We booked the all-day catamaran excursion they recommended  which included snorkelling in the coral garden, swimming with reef sharks & rays, motu lunch & sailing in the lagoon....and were very pleased with the quality of the boat, crew, lunch, and friendly atmosphere.  Just tell people NOT to use their internet service which is overpriced, and to go into town instead.

We rented a car on all four islands, and had absolutely no problems in seeing the islands independently.  It allowed us to take as much time as we wanted, stop when we wanted, talk to locals, find ourselves in the midst of unexpected festivities, and generally get the feel for each island, rather than being isolated in a resort.   Sorry but I don't remember which rental companies we used on each island....but I can say that, for 2 people, we were more than happy with the economical little Fiat Pandas (or similar) as you don't need speed & power for island roads.  The rental companies we used were those associated with each hotel, and not all were "big name" companies.

Planning and assistance were absolutely first class.  You could not have improved upon the excellent service you gave us!!   Your website is also excellent, and it is the reason I contacted your company.   It had the best information, in an easily accessible format, and I found myself constantly returning to it.

And we thank you, too, for your patience, your advice, and your friendly service!

InterContinental Thalasso:  The place is absolutely gorgeous (aside from some construction stuff which was to be expected) The room was spectacular! The views were great and the place was immaculately clean! Very modern and looks like a W hotel, very hip and "South Beach". The amenities were well stocked and replenished every day.  Plenty of towels by the pool.  My only comment about the pool area is that as more people book the place, there will not be enough lounge chairs poolside to accomodate everyone. But the pool is beautiful and the pool service is pretty good for lunch, drinks etc.

Le Taha'a:  The transfers again were flawless and the greeting was terrific. We got off the boat were given drinks and were given a personal tour of the facility by George who was very pleasant and so accomodating.  He showed us everything and took us directly to our room (bungalow 44) which we requested and were in the room by 11:30 am, before official check in.  George was particularly great, but all the administrative staff were excellent!!!! (Ana, Patrick).  The bungalow at Le Taha'a was very different from Thalasso so direct comparison cannot be made, but Le Taha'a defiinitely tried to give a more authentic polynesian feel to the rooms.  The room here was smaller but the deck was much bigger and much better.  More sun. we had the sunset bungalow which was excellent. I would recommend our bungalow.  The sun set directly in front of us every night. Amenities were great......very well stocked. I think it would take me a year to use all the stuff given to us at Taha'a.  Kristin had a massage which she said was excellent...the best she's had. The pool was excellent and the coral gardens and snorkeling were great.

You were excellent, answering all my questions and helping us with all the stuff. I was very impressed that you contacted us while we were at JFK especially since it was a holiday. That was very much appreciated and made us feel that we were not being left on our own.

This was by far the best vacation I've taken. Tahiti was amazing and still relatively unspoiled. Your organization is very professional and you were very helpful.

-Robert & Kristin, New York

Everything was absolutely wonderful. Once you land they transfer you immediately to your next destination, which we loved! The meet and greet was great as well as the restaurants. We reccommend La Bounty on Bora Bora (our favorite). The wedding ceremony was beautiful. It was fun, although a little embarrassing, to dance in front of all the other visitors.
But we loved every bit of it. On Manihi we did the Motu Picnic and we HIGHLY reccommend that for EVERYONE. You fish Polynesian style, snorkel and the guide will even catch shark for everyone to hold. They also hold little games for friendly competition.

Both hotels were gorgeous and our views were spectacular. We could see everything at Maitai and everyone was very nice. The rooms were very "roomy" and large, incredibley comfy. We were up at the crack of dawn every day and even though nothing us open they were happy to accomodate us. Loved everyone.

It was the most beautiful place we have ever been or even seen in pictures. Everyone is very nice, a little pricy, but everyone knows this before they go. It was very relaxing, and at the same time you could keep yourself busy. It is a nice place to go to experience a new culture (and there are a lot of different cultures there!)

Thank you very much. You were wonderful and we will definitely be booking again in the future

-Joe and Ashley, South Carolina

We are back, and what a wonderful trip we had! It was truly the trip of a lifetime, and we are still reeling from the excitement of all of it. I cannot thank you enough for all of your time and effort. Everything was magnificent from the hotels, the dining, the diving, and the ceremony was amazing. We can’t stop looking at all of the pictures. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am recommending you to anyone and everyone we know. We are definitely not going to wait 10 more years to go back, so you can surely count on me to be in touch!

-Jennifer & Erik, Arizona

The Islands we visited did meet or exceed our expectations. The transfers,& meet and greet were great. Wonderful, friendly people. The only excursions we did were the Tahiti 8-hour jeep trip and scuba diving on Moorea. The jeep trip was fabulous! We were so glad we did it. The guide was very good and fun. Very good at his english translations. My son Keith was the scuba diver--he said it was the best one he's ever done, especially the fish he was able to see.

The 2 restaurants on Moorea were great. One was the floating old boat, where the food was great and the waitress spoke good english. The other was just around the corner from our hotel at a very small, family owned place that had a few small cabins you could rent right on the water. The owner even offered to give us a free ride back to our hotel(we had walked down)! That was so nice, and again the people were wonderful. We especially liked the hut bar(Sheraton
Moorea) that was on the walkway in the middle of the overwater bungalows. It was very reasonable, and had the best crepes in the evenings.

Both Sheratons were fantastic! We loved the setting of both, and the service was great. Rooms were very clean, with everything we needed. Everyone should definitely stay over the water at least a couple of nights--it was so
awesome!

We didn't rent a car. We ended up getting two go-karts and a scooter! We had them for 8 hours on Moorea, and were able to explore the whole island! It was fun to be on our own there.

Yes, we would recommend FP to our friends and family, because it is the most beautiful place we've ever been. But it also was the most expensive trip we've ever taken, so not every one could afford it. The food prices were outrageous! Yes, we would recommend your agency--you handle things so well. Even the times I called and you were out, someone was very eager to try to answer my questions. Thank you again for all your help!

- The Wright Family, Okalahoma

Everything was perfect! We never had to do any thinking. As soon as we arrived, we were met by someone and it continued that way through the whole trip. Naturally, I was the one who got all the credit from my wife for planning such awesome trip. I owe the credit to you though.

The hotels were great. The rooms and amenities were georgeous. My only complaint Was that service was a little slow but I found that was the case pretty much everywhere we went. I think the lifestyle is just much more laid back that we’re accustomed to in the states. Don’t get me wrong, service was excellent, just a little slow, which hardly took away from the wonderful trip we had.

It’s the most beautiful place I have ever scene and I’ve traveled all over the place. Moorea is beautiful for its mountains and Bora Bora’s lagoon could not be beat.

You guys did a wonderful job with the planning. It could have not gone any smoother.

- Kevin & Caitlin, Maryland

The islands were great. All of the transfers were organized and on time, it really made getting around the islands easy. Bloody Mary's was awesome. The Moorea Pearl Resort was great, the private pool bungalow was awesome, but Bora Bora Pearl Beach was incredible. They covered every aspect. Made sure everything we needed was taken care of. The best hotel we have ever stayed at. It was the most beautiful place we have been.  Very romantic. Tahiti Travel Planners made such a big trip  that had a lot of areas to cover easy.

-Allyson & Joey, Louisiana

Things went extremely well! Everything was great! The places the people, everything!!!

All the transfers, meet and greets, service excursions and restaurants were top rate! I would do them all again without a doubt. The hotels were great. All the over water bungalows were fantastic! The service was outstanding.

I could not imagine doing a trip like ours, 3 islands in 16 days, with out Tahiti Travel Planners. To get feedback on things we asked about before getting there, suggestions and honest answers about what was good, better, or not worth doing was invaluable! To have all the logistics of transfers to and from airport & hotel, all the inter island flights, etc. taken care of was again invaluable!

We have traveled extensively in the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Mexico. French Polynesia is our number 1 choice for climate, scuba diving, service, friendly people, and atmosphere. This was our second time back, and we have decided that we are going to go back, use Bora Bora as our main "hub" and do a week on Bora Bora, and a week on a different island every time we go back...until we run out of islands!

-Mark & Kim, California

Bora Bora exceeded our expectations. The transfers went smoothly and everyone was helpful and polite. Words cannot describe the beauty of the island. We are not very adventurous in our travels, we like to do more laying around, swimming and beaching, but we found no matter what level of vacationer you are, there is something for everyone to do in Bora Bora.

The Intercontinental LeMoana was fabulous, our beach bungalow was very roomy and clean, the hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We did the Shark and Ray Feeding excursion, it was definitely worth doing. We also ate at Bloody Mary's and loved it so much we ate there twice! We were warned that everything was expensive, but we found the restaurants outside the hotel were a little cheaper than the hotel. We did enjoy the Saturday night Polynesian show and Seafood Buffet at our hotel, it was worth spending the money on.

Thank you so much for your assistance with our wonderful honeymoon. It was the trip of a lifetime!

-Megan & Joe, Illinois

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bora Bora. The island and the Bora Bora Nui extended their welcome to us beyond our expectations. Thank you for helping to make this trip-of-a-lifetime thoroughly enjoyable. We will soon be making plans for our return - perhaps for next year's July festivals!

Bora Bora and everything/everyone on the island turned out beyond our expectations. Upon our arrival in Fa'a Airport, the meet and gree/transfer to hotel went extremely smooth, and same goes for the transfer back to the airport the next morning for our flight to Bora Bora. Air Tahiti did leave behind one of our luggages (the one with all our clothes in it!) due to the plane being over cargo weight, but they along with Bora Bora Nui assuaged our worries by delivering the luggage to our bungalow door just a little over 2 hours later.

We never had a bad meal during the entire trip, notably, we had better than excellent meals at Bloody Mary's (excellent broadbill swordfish), Snack Matira (very friendly service), Bora Kaina Hut (the best seafood platter ever in my life for only UD$36), Fare Manuia (our favorite on the island, looking forward to trying the 1kg cote de bouef when we return), Moi Here (the best snack food and cutest restaurant matron on the island) Villa Mahana (what romance and what food and Damien was charmingly friendly). We also enjoyed 2 fabulous Polynesian shows at the Nui, our favorite being the sporting/fire dance show on Friday nights put on by Patrick's crew (Alex was the best!), and the Nui also lays out a gastronomically impressive seafood buffet on Tuesday nights (lobster and grilled ribeye steaks on a buffet line, can you imagine?).

There was not a single thing that went wrong with Bora Bora Nui. Everything was top notch, from Elenore the sales manager down to the staff that worked at reception, room service, pool & restaurants, housekeeping, and boat dock areas. The room was ultra clean, every time we left our room we return to a magically cleaned room by the housekeeping fairies.

Absolutely YES! In fact, during our trip we have already accumulated many info/pamphlets to share with our families and friends who are all jealous of our trip to paradise and clamoring to go next! The whole experience was wonderful, and we will surely be returning soon ourselves, and perhaps try another island next.

-Betty & David, California

The Islands my wife and I visited were both beyond word description. If I was to say something to best describe the islands it would be truly "Paradise". The transfer set ups were great and the people were beyond generous. My wife and I made some very nice friends with the staff at the hotels we stayed at. We write them now that were back in the states and hope to keep in touch with them for ever. Finally the food, it say it best when I say "WOW" I could not believe how good we both ate in the French Polynesian islands and they really feed you well where ever you go there or with whatever you do there.

The hotels were absolutely wonderful and the staff very generous with us. The over water bungalows is a must. I miss falling asleep listening to the sound of the ocean waves. The staff really helped and went beyond expectations with the service.

Thank you guys soo much for everything. Amine my wife and I are very happy to have met you. My wife and I have already been recommending the islands to be a place to visit. I hope that all close family and friends of mine can one day experience the French Polynesian islands someday. Like I said before it's truly "Paradise".

- Mr & Mrs. Grover, Indiana

Both hotels were great. The rooms and amenities were fine, the grounds were well maintained and the staff was friendly and pleasant. We were given a garden bungalow with a plunge pool at the Moorea Pearl for the first night which we really enjoyed. The overwater bungalow was interesting, but I think we liked the garden bungalow better. I liked the size of the Pearl, not too big, and its convenience to the town for shopping and alternatives for breakfast and lunch. The Intercontinental Le Moana was also nice, although not much snorkeling to be found off the beach there. Due to the windy conditions, we were not able to take out kayaks, since the water was quite choppy. The free shuttle to the Thalasso was a nice option.

We rented a car on Moorea from Albert's; we enjoyed driving around the island on our own and having the opportunity to stop where we wanted.

The assistance from Tahiti Travel Planners was good and helpful, your suggestions were good and you accommodated our last minute requests happily.

-Janet & Fred, Massachusetts

We had a WONDERFUL honeymoon. My husband said one time on the trip, and I quote, "I really like this travel agency and think they did a great job." He was very impressed with how organized all your information was and how you provided a summary on each island with info on restaurants, etc. Thank you for all your help and all the information you provided.

Yes, the islands did meet our expectations. Everything was so easy. Everywhere we went there was someone there to greet us and take us (or show us) where to go. We did not have to try and figure anything out. Transfers were great and the meet and greet was awesome.

Taha'a Private Resort and Spa was above our expectations. It was everything I dreamed and more. I am glad you recommended that resort to be the last one we visit. The room, services and amenities would get a 10 out of 10.

Moorea Pearl Resort was excellent. The overwater bungalow was directly over a reef and so there were thousands of fish right under us every day. None of the other resorts had this. It was awesome. The room, service, and amenities would get a 9 out of 10.

I think your planning was above my expectations. You helped me customize a package taking my needs into consideration. You worked with me a long time before I finally found what was right for me and you were so supportive and helpful with all the info you provided in all your emails. 10 out of 10 regarding your help and all the other info you provided.

-Debby & Ryan, California

We thought the meet and greets were excellent, the restaurants were excellent as well, just a little pricey for us. All of our transfers were great, everything went smooth. The 4x4 Jeep Safari excursion on Moorea was outstanding- very friendly. The shark and sting ray feeding/circle island tour on Bora Bora was by far the best day we had on our honeymoon. All 3 of the islands were amazing in their own way, we both agreed that Bora Bora was our favorite island but the other two were also outstanding.

The hotels we stayed in were way above our expectations. The Sheraton on Moorea was the perfect location on the island and the service was outstanding, any questions i had or problems we needed help with were taken care of immediately. We stayed in a superior garden bungalow and we felt like we were millionares, the rooms were absolutely incredible.

The Ti Tiare on Huahine was also outstanding, the boat ride to and from our hotel made it romantic, unique and very secluded. it had a great beach and our rooms were great. Here again the restaurant was expensive.

I'm so glad we waited last to visit the Pearl Beach Resort on Bora Bora, because it was the best. We stayed in an over water bungalow and every night we were there we kept waiting to wake up from a dream. We had every different color of fish swim under our bungalow and we watched as the sting rays swam by us as well. We sat on our deck and fed the fish bread and they would nibble on our toes and fingers. It was the most romantic place we had ever been. The beach at our resort was also the best and the hammocks right on the beach offered a view of Bora Bora that no other resort could. The service was friendly and courteous, and did I mention the view?

I've been recommending Tahiti to everyone I know even before we left, and now everyone is looking at our pictures and video and now everyone is saving their money. I compared prices with Tahiti Travel Planners and another travel agent and TTP had a best deal for us.

-Nathan & Anna, California

Yes, we had an INCREDIBLE time!  It was truly the trip of a lifetime.  We told several people how wonderfully

you had everything planned......we didn't have a care in the world due to your attention to detail!  If we ever

go again (I HOPE!!!!) we will definitely call you!

The greet and transfer services were incredible.  At every transfer along the way, there were folks right

there waiting for us and took us to the next destination.  They asked for our certificates, and explained what to expect

next in detail.  This was incredibly helpful!  (and we loved all the leis......)

We could not be more pleased with the assistance from Tahiti Travel Planners and especially from you. The website was

full of helpful information.

-Gail & Tim

We really did not know what to expect, having never been to French Polynesia, however they were beautiful. We were amazed at how organized everything was. The transfers were always right on time; never a minute late and the staff was very accommodating and pleasant.

We did a variety of excursions, some which were great and others just okay. We would definitely recommend the Jeep tours on any of the islands (we did Moorea and Bora Bora and both were great for both site seeing and learning the culture). We were less than impressed with the Dolphin excursion at the Intercontinental Moorea, not at all worth the money. We also greatly enjoyed the shark and ray feeding, which included a visit to the Lagoonarium in Bora Bora. The tiki show in Moorea at Tiki Village was by far the best of 4 tiki shows we went to.

Restaurants were all great, as we are sure everyone says, Bloody Mary’s was exceptional. We would also recommend Alfredo’s on Cooks Bay in Moorea. For a great lunch spot, we took a boat (free) from Le Taha’a to Raitea and went to a place in town called Moemoea (this area is a great place for shopping for souvenirs and groceries as well). As expected, everything was pricey and got more expensive each island we went. Knowing that there were markets to visit in town (information provided by TTP’s and reception) allowed us to purchase snacks and beverages and saved on three expensive meals each day.

The hotels were all gorgeous. We were glad that we went from Moorea to Bora Bora to Le Taha’a because the hotels got nicer as we went along on our trip.

We were slightly disappointed in the “overwater” bungalows in Moorea because they were not really overwater as much as they were adjacent to the water. They did however, have some of the best off deck snorkeling. verything was in close proximity as well; the market only slightly over a mile away and you could rent a bike at reception or a scooter right outside the property.

The Intercontinental in Bora Bora was outstanding, a gorgeous Hotel. Our overwater bungalow was HUGE and very chic and high class. Very well advertised! Sounds silly but the beds were extremely comfortable with a beautiful view of the lagoon. One interesting thing they had was guest information provided by TV. There was a menu on the TV that gave you any and all information about the hotel and its services as well as excursion and activity information. The meal plan option was great and saved us additional expenses.

Le Taha’a was not what we were expecting. There were actually more people at that hotel than at any of our other hotels, lots of children too. It was an outstanding hotel and very unique. The overwater bungalow was awesome. We really enjoyed the natural construction, look and feel of all of their facilities. The beach was the nicest of all of them and the coral garden is very cool. Snorkeling was great of the deck. Staff was very accommodating and provided us with a room until our room was available and also provided with a room to clean up in since we did not leave until 5 pm, which was well after checkout.

We would recommend French Polynesia to our friends and family, it was outstanding and well worth the money.  The Polynesian people are amazingly pleasant and there for your enjoyment.  We were amazed at the number of languages they knew and when they didn’t speak English they sure tried.  All in all it is a very relaxing environment.

- Sean and Lindsey, Colorado

The transfers went smoothly and the meet and greet service by Tahiti Nui Travel was great. It took us a long time to get through customs and we were worried that we wouldn't make our connecting flight to Bora Bora. It was a relief to see our name up on the Tahiti Nui Travel board and to be escorted to where we need to go to check-in for our next flight. I was surprised to see our name on the board again when we returned to the airport in Papeete for our return home flight. They again escorted us to our check-in area for the flight home.

The shark & ray feeding & circle island excursion on Bora Bora is one that shouldn't be missed. They took a video of the whole excursion, which at first I was reluctant to purchase, but now I'm glad I did.

I love the French Polynesia (this was my second trip) and I would recommend it to everyone.

- Teri & James, California

The both hotels were awesome---and very different! WE loved the location and views from the Sheraton Moorea and LOVED that there was lots of coral to snorkel right outside our room--everything was amazing. The Bora Bora InterContinentnal Thalasso was the nicest hotel we've ever stayed at--the bungalows were HUGE and so new and decorated awesomely. The amenities were great, we loved the pool, and the restaurants were awesome--food was top notch--and service. We definitely want to go back when it's all done! like in 10 years though!

I would 100% reccomond French Polynesia, and Tahiti Travel Panners to everyone I know--so beautful, the people there are so nice, the food is great, the weather was wonderful, and Chloe was extremely helpful--a great resource--and after seeing some of the other hotels on the island, I think you also gave an excellent discription of the plusses and minuses of the hotels in terms of location, bungalow layouts, ect, and we are SO HAPPY with the choices we ended up making!

- Katie & Marc, New York

The islands met our expectaions and beyond. Meet and greet and any pre-arranged transfers etc. were efficient, professional, and smooth. The hotels were wonderful.  We loved the garden bungalow at the Intercontinental and our over the water at LeMeridien (we got the last one out in the water!) No complaints at all.  They were both perfect. Excursions? We did the shark feeding, sting ray and snorkeling trip on BoraBora and really enjoyed it. On Moorea we went on a whale/dolphin watch with a biologist-Michael Moore. Unfortunately, we didn't see anything after hearing from the hotel staff all of these wonderful stories-BUT-he gave us our money back because we didn't see anything! He was also recommended in our book on Tahiti. We also used the spa at the Intercontinental and it was very nice. We would definitely recommend French Polynesia to anybody! We are going to start saving $$ to go back in 3 years!!

-Kathy & David, Colorado

We visited Tahiti for one night and then Moorea and Bora Bora. Tahiti met our expectations and we had a great time. Moorea and Bora Bora really exceeded our expectations. The meet and greet services and all transfers were flawless. In addition, John and I changed our plans at the last minute in LA and flew out a day early with no notice. You were able to secure us a room and the meet and greet and transfer service met us at the airport. Everything was quick and on time. We have absolutely no complaints or dislikes. On Moorea we ate at Te Hontu Iti; Le Mahogany; Mayflower; Linareva (the boat) & Motu Pizza. We loved all of them with the stingrays at Te Hontu Iti and the food at Mayflower being tops. No complaints about service - we thought it was on par with the Caribbean or a little faster. The servers and staff were very friendly in all places. On Bora Bora we ate at Villa Mahana and Top Dive as well as the IC. The food was great at all places with the IC coming in second to the private restaraunts.

The Sheraton in Moorea was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful, and our room was great. We were in 109 at the end of the pier. We thought the service at the resort was good although we did not eat there because of too many bad reviews on that front. Th
