Booking Procedures, Terms and Conditions
Clients wishing to confirm their Tahiti vacation or Tahiti honeymoon travel may
submit your booking request via our contact form,

Booking Procedures
When you are ready to secure your Tahiti honeymoon package or Tahiti vacation package,
we kindly request the following information to secure your reservations:
- Your first and last name(s) exactly as they appear on your passport along with any
suffix title that may appear with the last name (such as Jr. or Sr.)
Please note that the names you provide us will be submitted for the issuance of
your airline tickets. It is solely the passenger's responsibility to ensure that
the names provided for booking match the names as listed on the passenger's passport.
If a change in name is required after the confirmations have been received, then
the passenger will be responsible for any applicable fees from the airline to change
the name and re-issue the ticket as required.
- Your home address, home phone number, fax number, and work number.
This is the address we will This is the address we will use for the mailing of any correspondence, as well
as the delivery of your travel documents. Please advise us if you have an
alternate address you wish to use for the delivery of your travel documents.
- Name and telephone number of an emergency contact person. Travel Insurance. Please kindly if you wish to Accept or
Decline Travel Protection for your vacation or honeymoon.
- If you accept the TravelEx Trip Protection/Travel Insurance, please kindly confirm
the date of birth for each passenger.
- Reconfirmation of Departure Date & Package Selection, including any optional
upgrades or excursions to be included
- Special Requests - Please kindly confirm any bungalow or room requests, frequent
flier or hotel membership numbers, hotel or airline requests that you would like
for us to note in your honeymoon or vacation reservations.
Once your travel reservations have been submitted, you will receive your Tahiti
travel confirmations within 24 - 72 hours, depending on your requested Tahiti vacation
or Tahiti honeymoon itinerary. Once your confirmations are received, we will e-mail
you a confirmation letter with your detailed Tahiti travel itinerary and invoice
for your review. Upon confirmation for your Tahiti vacation or honeymoon, you will
receive an information package containing your hotel brochures, information on optional
romantic services, spa treatments, excursions, island information sheets, general
Tahiti information, and a hard copy of your itinerary and invoice.

Deposit and Final Payment Procedures
All bookings require a non refundable deposit. For land-only reservations a deposit of $ 200 per person is required at time of booking. Reservations including international flights in economy class require a deposit of $ 1,500 per person (deposit amounts for flights in business or first class are higher - please check with your Tahiti
Specialist). The deposit is will not be processed unless we have your itinerary confirmed as requested. The balance of your vacation or honeymoon will be due in full 45 days prior to departure. For bookings within 45 days prior to departure, full payment will be due within 5 business days of your Tahiti confirmation. Clients are free to pay in installments at any time before your final payment due date. Confirmation of your payment will be noted and applied to your invoice amount.
All prices reflect a 3% discount for final payment of your Tahiti honeymoon or
Tahiti vacation by check or bank wire transfer. However, the deposit for your
Tahiti honeymoon or vacation and the cost of the insurance can be paid by credit
card (Visa, American Express, Discover or MasterCard) without losing the 3%
check payment discount on the final balance due.

Credit Card Payments
Clients wishing to pay their vacation or honeymoon deposit and travel insurance
by credit card will not forfeit the 3% discount on the final balance of your Tahiti
vacation or honeymoon. Discounts do not apply if clients wish to pay the final balance
by credit card.
If paying deposit or final payment by credit card, please kindly download a copy
of our Tahiti Travel Planners Credit Card Authorization form from our website.
Please print out a copy of the credit card authorization form and fax it to our
reservations department (800) 772-9231 or for international clients (773) 935-4710.

Check Payments
Clients paying their final balance by check will receive a 3% discount as outlined
on your invoice. Check payments should be made payable to 'New Millennium Tours'

TravelEx Travel Insurance/Trip Protection
As with any large cruise or vacation, we strongly recommend that clients purchase trip insurance. Trip Insurance is extremely important for travelers when traveling outside of North America because it provides coverage for unexpected medical emergencies, natural disasters, strikes, and other circumstances that could impact your international travel plans. We offer a comprehensive travel protection program through Travelex or you can purchase your own trip insurance directly through a number of different providers.
From $139 per person for ages 17 - 50, (rates on request for persons age 51+) Children under 18 are covered at no additional cost when accompanied by a covered adult family member for our Travelex Travel Select Policy. The travel insurance can be purchased any time up to the time of final payment. However, if purchased within 21 days of your deposit, Travelex will waive any pre-existing medical conditions that could cause you to cancel your trip.
Extended coverage is available for “Cancel For any Reason Pak”, Professional Pak, Family Pak, Transportation Pak, Adventurer Pak and others for an additional fee per policy. Please ask your Tahiti Travel Specialist for details.
Here is a basic outline of what is covered by the Travelex Travel Select Policy:
- If due to a covered illness, injury or death (travel person or immediate family), or other covered unforeseen circumstances, you must cancel or interrupt your vacation, you help to can protect yourself from cancellation fees and airline penalties by purchasing this comprehensive program. It can also provide coverage for you if you must cancel your trip due to a serious illness or pre-existing medical condition of a family member not traveling with you. (certain restrictions apply)
- Trip cancellation: Trip cost ($25,000 limit)
- Trip interruption: 150% of trip cost ($37,500 limit)
- Trip delay / missed connection: $750
- Emergency accident & sickness medical
expense: $50,000
- Emergency medical evacuation / repatriation: $ 500,000
- Lost baggage: $1,000
- Baggage delay:$250
- 24-hour AD&D: $25,000
- Travel assistance included
- Unanticipated termination or layoff from employment (Insured must have
been employed at least one year with employer, valid for travel through December
2010)

**Trip Default
Protection is effective only if the policy was purchased within 10 days of the
initial trip deposit and 14+ days prior to the default of a trip service
provider.

Payment for the trip protection insurance can be made with the deposit if you
wish to protect your deposit, or payment for the insurance can be made with the
final payment.the

Terms & Conditions of Travel
Cancellations
Cancellations are subject to fees of at least $200 per person after payment of deposit. If cancellation occurs within 45 days prior to departure date, the fee is $200 per person, plus any other penalties (20% of package price for cancellations 44-21 days prior to departure and 30% for cancellations less than 21 days prior to departure), and any other applicable supplier charges. During high season travel, Airlines may implement increased fees for changes and/or cancellations. Therefore, any cancellations or changes to international airline tickets prior to final payment being made may be subject to airline penalties in addition to your non-refundable deposit. . Additional cancellation fees apply for all reservations between December 22 – and January 05.
Final Payment
We reserve the right to cancel any reservation if final payment of the entire balance
owed is not made 45 days or more prior to departure.
Change Fees
After receipt of deposit, a handling fee of $ 50+ per person will be assessed for passenger initiated changes, plus any applicable vendor fees. For changes made after documents are issued, a fee of $100 per person will be charged plus any applicable vendor fees and special delivery fees. Airline change fees and restrictions vary. In some instances changes to the air itinerary are not permitted.
No Shows
Cancellations must be made by 5:00 pm CST of the last business day prior to departure or you will be considered a “no show” and forfeit all monies paid. (Saturday, Sunday and legal holidays are not considered to be business days). Failure to check in for your flight at least 2 hours prior to your scheduled departure may result in denial of boarding and no refund will be granted in such an event.
Refunds
Once a trip has begun, there will be no refunds made for any unused or partially
used features or services including accommodations unless provided by the vendors.
To the extent available, refunds are subject to a $50 processing fee plus such cancellation
fees as assessed by vendors. In order to be considered, refund requests for changes
made after departure must be submitted in writing with the appropriate tour documents
within 30 days of your scheduled return date.
Not Included
Except where otherwise noted, prices do not include porterage, customs, gratuities,
or meals. Telephone calls or any other items of a personal nature are not included
in any travel package.
Special Requests
All requests for specific bedding or locations within a hotel, and any other items
of this nature or regarding physical conditions that require special attention,
treatment or facility must be advised to us when the reservation is made and will
be communicated to the vendors and tour operators. However, requests cannot be confirmed
prior to departure and no guarantees are expressed or implied that the request will
be honored. Most vendors have a "first come first served" policy regarding special
requests.
Travel Documents
All travelers must present a valid passport to board a flight to French Polynesia.
Your first and last name on your passport must match your international air tickets.
You will also be asked to present your passport to clear "Customs" in
French Polynesia and upon return from French Polynesia. Your passport must be valid
for 180 days beyond your return date. U.S. and Canadian citizens only need a valid
passport and do not need a VISA to enter French Polynesia. Citizens of all other
countries may need a VISA in addition to a valid passport and should consult the
nearest French Consulate or French Embassy as early as possible. Travelers who a
required to have a VISA to enter French Polynesia should apply as early as possible
because it can take several weeks to obtain a VISA. It is solely the passenger’s
responsibility to ensure that all needed documents are complete and up to date for
valid entry into the country.
Accommodations
Hotel accommodations are based on two persons sharing a twin bedded room or bungalow.
Included Features
Unless otherwise noted, all airport, hotel, or dock transfers are included by car,
mini-bus, local conveyance or coach. Baggage handling includes two normal pieces
of luggage per person.
Terms and Conditions
The passenger’s payment for a tour and ticket is regarded as agreement to
the terms and conditions outlined here.
Responsibility
New Millennium Tours, Inc. and Tahiti Travel Planners and/or its agents and employees shall not be responsible for bodily injury, or property damage, loss, accidents, delays, irregularities or change of itinerary incurred by any person arising out of any willful or negligent act or omission of any air carrier, hotel, ground operator or other person who is to or does render any services or accommodations.
We and the local ground operators assume neither responsibility nor liability in connection with the service of any train, vessel, carriage, aircraft, or other conveyance which may be used either wholly or in part in the performance of its duty to the passenger.
We are not liable for expenses incurred due to delays caused by weather or other acts of God, or in the event of strikes, pilferage, monetary crisis, local law, labor problems, social or political unrest, disease, quarantine, war, aircraft delays or mechanical failures. Changes in itinerary, hotels, or services are not likely; however, we, the local ground operators and hotel companies reserve the right to make such changes as may be necessary and without notice and shall not be liable for any expense or inconvenience occasioned by such, or circumstances beyond our control.
We cannot assume any responsibility for flight delays, cancellations and missed connections and are not liable for any resultant expenses or consequences. Such expenses are the responsibility of the client. Airline flights shown on your itinerary are based on confirmations received from the airlines and current flight schedules. Periodically the airlines may implement a schedule change prior to your departure and it may be necessary to make adjustments to your itinerary. If the airline issues a change we will advise you accordingly, and provide any options available to coordinate with your itinerary. As the airline claims no responsibility for domestic flight and itinerary changes, any additional cost incurred as a result of these changes will be the responsibility of the passenger.
New Millennium Tours Inc., Tahiti Travel Planners and the local suppliers reserve the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of these tours or otherwise refuse service to anyone at any time and for any reason.
Governing Body
New Millennium Tours Inc. is a corporation registered with the State of Illinois. All services are subject to the laws of the country in which the services are rendered. In the unlikely event that a client has a dispute with New Millennium Tours Inc. - Tahiti Travel Planners, client agrees that the dispute shall be settled by arbitration through the Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan Chicago.
